What do you think of this ever so short clip from the BBC adaptation of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell?

I loved the book. Most of the people in my SF bookclub hated it, but they hate anything that has even a faint scent of literary. I’m really looking forward to this production! As for the clip, it’s too short to even get a feeling for.

Ah, I am so excited for this! I am also a little disappointed by how short the clip is :). I remember that conversation in the book though, and I think it is a good choice for such a short clip. I really loved this book!

The signs look good. With all that H.P. movie producing talent laying about and knowledge of English dramas from that century, they should do fine. As long as they don’t try to squeeze it into to short of a time frame.

OH, IMDB says it’s at least a seven part TV series. That should eliminate the squeezing-it-all-in factor.
