I don’t know, the Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein movie (with Robert De Niro) did more or less justice to an incredible, deep, emotional book. Judging by the trailer, this newest adaptation seems fun only. I think the book deserves better?
It does look like fun. But it doesn’t look like Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. Did she even have an Igor? I imagine that it is based on the old Frankenstein movies that we all know and love. I hope it is fun.
@blebs: I’d like to see a faithful adaptation but Brannagh’s was pretty good.
@Buck Ward: I think they’re trying to do this one like the Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes movies. Period piece turned into a modern fast action flick with a handsome buddy duo for leads…
Only Igor can bring his friend back from the brink of madness and save him from his monstrous creation. Stay connected with Victor Frankenstein for more updates.
