Let’s finish this the way we started it…
I haven’t read the books but I have enjoyed the movies to varying degrees and this looks like a pretty kick-ass way to end the series. I’m looking forward to the final chapter.

I remember that I’d not paid the slightest bit of attention to Harry Potter even after the first movie came out. So, one day while I was living in Houston, I had a free afternoon, so I went and saw the movie at one of the second run theaters. That’s a good use for three bucks or what ever the price was. I certainly didn’t want to spend full matinee price. All the cliche words they use: enchanting, blown away, spellbinding, good fun with that little hint of darkness, which will grow and grow. I experienced them all. A few days later I was in a book store and saw a used copy of the first book. I picked it up, read is quickly, and then read it again, which is highly unusual for me. I’ve been quite hooked ever sense. The thing which still stuns me is the midnight release parties for the later books. Is there any other author, out there working today, which might be popular enough for something like that? I’d say no. Truly remarkable.
It certainly is the quintessential success story.
Powell’s in Portland had a midnight release party for the final Hunger Games book, and may have for the final Twilight book, but I can’t recall any that had midnight parties for books before the series was over.
