Watch the First 3 Minutes: IN THE FLESH 3-Night ZOMBIE Event
I saw this over on SF Signal and had to share it here. I’m not a huge zombie fan, except for the comedy end of the spectrum like Zombieland or Shaun of the Dead, but this one seems an interesting take. And I like that it’s only 3 episodes – which is about how far my attention span will take me when it comes to zombies. The show premiers Thursday June 6 at 10pm/9c on BBC America. What do you think?

I’ve always wanted to see what happens *after* the cure. This seems a bit like an allegory on, say, AIDS victims in the 1980s. I’m definitely watching.
I will not be watching. I prefer to waste my time of other, more salubrious subjects like playing Facebook games. Actually, I find little of interest in the whole Zombie fad engulfing the popular media.
I wonder what it represents. Could it be a desire to give up individual freedom and responsibility that this subject so attractive? Or are these people just plain hungry (for knowledge since they desire brains above all else).
Originally, zombie movies invariably represented the insatiability of Western consumerism.
I know, but current portrayals of zombies no longer adhere that profound critic.
I just saw it. This one is more of an allegory for racism.
