Just noticed that all of the YA nominations are from authors I associate with adult fiction.
YA is the growing market. Just look at the shelf space in the box stores. My B&N keeps stealing from SFF to add more paranormal teen romance.
I have pretty much zero interest in YA, but I’ll read anything by Bacigalupi or McDonald, so I had to give in.
This seems like a return to sanity after the Hugo announcement.
