Swap ‘A Borrowed Man’ with ‘Luna: A New Moon’, and you get exactly my own SF Award Worthy List. (But then again, I haven’t read ‘A Borrowed Man’ yet…)
These short lists look more like what I would expect than the Hugo did – based on author reputations and reviews etc. – I’ve not read any of them yet. Interesting to see that all the fantasy noms are women this time around. That’s never happened before.
