2017 Arthur C. Clarke Award Shortlist
The shortlist for the Arthur C. Clarke Award for best science fiction novel for 2017 have been announced. They are:
- A Closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers (Hodder & Stoughton)
- Ninefox Gambit by Yoon Ha Lee (Solaris)
- After Atlas by Emma Newman (Roc)
- Occupy Me by Tricia Sullivan (Gollancz)
- Central Station by Lavie Tidhar (PS Publishing)
- The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead (Fleet)
The winner will be announced July 27, 2017 and will be presented with a check for £2017.00 and the award itself, a commemorative engraved bookend.
