- Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko (Hot Key Books)
- The Space Between Worlds by Micaiah Johnson (Hodder & Stoughton)
- The Animals in that Country by Laura Jean McKay (Scribe)
- Sharks in the Time of Saviours by Kawai Strong Washburn (Canongate)
